Last week I went to an event called The Cream put together by Bash, Please and featuring all kinds of amazing vendors for weddings. I was hoping to see some paper goods and knew it would be aesthetically amazing, and boy was it. So visually stunning. And FUN. I had a cocktail with an herb sprig (=fancy), cheeses, way too many dessert samples (including cake that had gardenia essence in the frosting) a lavender soda and a latte. We even tore it up on the dance floor a bit. A lot of excitement for a school night. Some pics to give the feel:
The model on the dance floor is wearing BHLDN, Anthro’s wedding line. The dresses and looks were to die for.
I didn’t get pics of all the cool vendors there but it seems these days the fun and creative options are limitless–photo booths, gourmet ice-cream and coffee carts, hand-made bow ties… As someone who tried to pull off a DIY/creative wedding pre-DIY weddings, it kind of kills me. But then, flip-side, there’s a lot of pressure to have a mind-blowing party!
I loved the way the whole event was styled, especially the neutrals with neon color pops, geometrics, and hand-crafted decorations.
Thanks to Haydee and Theresa for sharing a fun and inspiring evening. Check out their recaps (which are way more informative) and The Cream blog if you are planning a wedding or just want to see how all the cool kids tie the knot these days.
