Just completed a fun project for an interior designer. She wanted to combine the initials of her company name (cid) to create a logo. She also wanted a stand-out business card with a clean design and a pattern she loved (see below). I created a rough-cut version of the pattern using the reverse of the weave as a contemporary take on this classic. When the ink was pressed onto the paper, it made a slight impression, which added to the contrast of the white and the texture and gave it a 3-dimensional feel that seemed well-suited to an interior designer.
